<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and control program for the image processing apparatus, for easily performing processing upon a user-desired required portion in document data based on a document, regarding the image processing apparatus and control method for the image processing apparatus, for performing processing upon the document data. <P>SOLUTION: A multi function peripheral (MFP) produces to-be-processed region data relating to a user-desired target region on the basis of a cutoff line being present on a target page document and a cutoff line identification indication (S8). In the case that a plurality of to-be-processed region data items are present (S10:YES), on the basis of user settings, the MFP produces page combination data containing the plurality of to-be-processed region data.
