<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a correction operation for stabilizing image quality, with no delay, and to prevent productivity from getting low. <P>SOLUTION: An all-over image for correction is formed in a nonimage area passing through an exposure position in a period within a period of correcting a plane phase of a polygon. Image patterns Y3, M3, C3, K3 for correcting the highest density of the all-over images, or image patterns Y4, M4, C4, K4 for forcible discharge, for example, are formed in nonimage areas Z2, Z3 of an intermediate transfer belt 50 corresponding to the nonimage area passing through the exposure position in the period within the period of correcting the plane phase of the polygon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
