PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge and discharge control method for a plurality of batteries, which can prolong the lifetime by averaging deterioration of the respective batteries, by arranging the use conditions of each other when a plurality of batteries are used alternately. SOLUTION: The charge and discharge control method for a plurality of batteries used by alternately charging and discharging the batteries is provided with: a step for acquiring the maximum electric capacity of each battery; a step for comparing the maximum electrical capacity of each battery to select the battery whose maximum electrical capacity is the largest; and a step for disconnecting a battery, other than the selected battery and using the selected battery, by charging and discharging for a predetermined period.
