<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel alignment measuring method of an automobile, and a device therefor, can measure easily wheel alignment in consideration of the state of a suspension system in a completed vehicle to each wheel mounting part where a wheel is not mounted yet, and obtain a highly-accurate measurement result can adjust accurate wheel alignment, on an assembly line for assembling an automobile car body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A car body 2 is unliftably fixed, and while lifting each wheel mounting part 5 relatively to the car body 2, a load of each wheel mounting part 5 is measured. Then, lifting of each wheel mounting part 5 is stopped, when the measured load of each wheel mounting part 5 reaches a load set beforehand respectively relative to each wheel mounting part 5.
