<p>A radio repeater for realizing unmanned guarding and a method thereof are provided. The radio repeater includes a first antenna configured to transmit and receive radio signals to and from a base station, a second antenna configured to transmit and receive radio signals to and from a terminal, a signal processor configured to detect a changing interference signal received through the first or second antenna based on a fixed interference signal pattern stored in advance and to output a detection signal indicating existence or non-existence of an intruder based on a result of the detection, and a modem configured to provide a user with information about the existence or non-existence of an intruder through a mobile communication network based on the detection signal. Accordingly, unmanned guarding can be manifested without separate unmanned guarding equipment, thereby reducing the financial and spatial burden that may incur when the unmanned guarding equipment is installed.</p> |
