A COMPOSITION FOR ANTI-INFLAMMATION CONTAINING WATER-EXTRACTS OF ACORUS CALAMUS LEAF

PURPOSE: A composition for anti-inflammation containing water-extracts of Acorus calamus leaf is provided to be safe for the skin due to no cytotoxin, and to prevent and improve allergic or anallergic skin disease by anti inflammation effect. CONSTITUTION: A composition for anti-inflammation containing water-extracts of Acorus calamus leaf is prepared by the steps of: drying Acorus calamus leaf; pulverizing the Acorus calamus leaf in a mill; mixing 1.5L water(an extraction solvent of 15 times volume content) with 100g of the pulverized Acorus calamus leaf; extracting the sample in a medical distiller to become the total volume of 700mL; filtering the extracted sample with a 0.2μm filter; separating supernatant after filtration; and keeping the separated supernatant in aluminum foil.
