<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of making a lithographic printing plate which shows safe and excellent developing property and processing capability in one-liquid processing with a processing liquid within a weak alkali pH range, preferably with a processing liquid having pH of 8.5-10.5. <P>SOLUTION: The method of making a lithographic printing plate includes a preparation step of preparing an original plate of lithographic printing plate having on a hydrophilic support a photosensitive layer containing an infrared absorber, an organic boron anion compound, an onium salt, an ethylenic unsaturated compound and a binder polymer; an exposing step of image-exposing the original plate of lithographic printing plate; and a processing step of processing the image-exposed original plate of lithographic printing plate with a processing liquid containing carbonic ions, hydrogen carbonate ions and a water-soluble polymer compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
