<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter selling system, device, method, and program capable of easily, quickly, and inexpensively providing necessary information to a content purchaser, and capable of providing a rightful counter value to a content provider. <P>SOLUTION: In the printed matter selling device, attribute information is acquired from a content providing server storing contents and attribute information of the contents, and is provided to a content purchaser.
