<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-in antenna type electronic clock which can enhance antenna characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A radio wave correcting clock comprises an antenna mounted in an external case, a motor, a drive control circuit which stops the motor when receiving external radio wave information. The axial direction of a motor coil 422 of the motor is mounted nearly in parallel with the axial direction of the antenna. The motor coil 422 is connected to or disconnected from tuning capacitors 47A, 47B which are resonated at an antenna receiving frequency. The drive control circuit stops the motor during receiving the external radio wave information, connects the tuning capacitors 47A, 47B into the motor coil 422, and couples magnetically the antenna with the motor coil 422. The motor coil 422 resonates with the receiving radio wave of the antenna. The magnetic flux density of the external radio wave information near the antenna is enhanced, and then, a magnetic flux quantity passing through the antenna is increased, whereby the antenna characteristics are improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
