PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for relieving a player's sense of unfairness. SOLUTION: The game machine 10 includes: a jackpot lottery means for performing jackpot lottery; a jackpot game performing means for performing a jackpot game; a loss compensation control means for performing operation control over a collection function for collecting prescribed valuable values for the player to play a game and loss compensation including a loss compensation function for compensating the player's loss in accordance with a prescribed condition; a selection means for performing selection operation of whether to perform operation control over the loss compensation; and a detecting means for detecting whether the player plays a game. The loss compensation control means cancels the loss compensation function when the detecting means detects that the player does not play the game. Also, the game machine includes a loss compensation function determining means for determining whether the loss compensation function is canceled and a notification display means for displaying notification of the cancellation when it is determined that the loss compensation function is canceled.
