PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion depressant capable of depressing generation of further abnormal expansion of a concrete structure where abnormal expansion has occurred by an alkali-silica reaction, and to provide a method for depressing generation of further abnormal expansion. SOLUTION: The expansion depressant capable of depressing expansion of a concrete structure by an alkali-silica reaction is made to contain an inorganic acid salt of aluminum and hydrogen peroxide. Thereby, a reactive aggregated included in a concrete structure is modified and generation of abnormal expansion by an alkali-silica reaction can be depressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
