PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a plastic lens for obtaining a thick plastic lens with a high index of refraction without an optical strain. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process comprises an injection step for injecting a polymerizable composition containing at least both of (A) a compound having at least two of an episulfide group in the molecule and (B) a polymerizable composition having at least one of a disulfide bonding (S-S) in the molecule further at least one of an epoxy group and a thioepoxy group into a molding block 150 under a predetermined temperature condition, and a curing step for curing the polymerizable composition and the curing step comprises a holding step for holding the mold for at least 40 hrs under a temperature condition in the range of 5 to 15°C after an injection process.
