<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized shielded connector. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The shielded connector includes: an outer housing 60; shielding shells 20, 30 attached inside thereof; an inner housing 40 attached inside the shielding shell; a terminal 10 inserted into a terminal housing chamber 41 of the inner housing and locked by a lance 46; and a front holder 50 which is inserted from the front of the inner housing, and prevents the lance from being bent in the unlocking direction as well as detecting that the terminal is inserted into an appropriate position by advancing the tip 52 into a bending space 47 of the lance when the lance is located at a position where the terminal is locked and engaged. The rear end 51 in the inserting direction of the front holder is exposed to the outside from a notch part 45 provided on the upper wall 40a of the inner housing, and the inner housing is attached inside the shielding shell, thus the rear end part of the exposed front holder is regulated in position by a peripheral wall of the shielding shell.
