<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition excellent in effects ameliorating shine and fine wrinkles of skin surface, hardly fading after coloring and stably retaining vivid color. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This composition comprises a cosmetic base and polyamide fine particles, where the colored polyamide fine particle carries a metal fine particle developing color by plasmon absorption, and the surface of the metal fine particle is protected by a nitrogen-containing polymer.
