<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire repair method which enables a user to perform high speed and power-saving tire repair when the user performs tire repair, and to provide a tire repair tool used in the tire repair method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the tire repair method, an atmospheric pressure tool which generates rotative force of a prescribed number of revolutions by atmospheric pressure is used. The tire repair method comprises steps of: inserting a tire repair needle on which a tire repair tube is mounted as the atmospheric pressure tool into a hole of a tire; driving the atmospheric pressure tool to transferring the rotative force to the tire repair needle; screwing the tire repair needle into the tire vertically to the tire surface; thereby, blocking the inside of the hole of the tire with the tire repair tube; and, further, drawing out the tire repair needle to perform the tire repair. In the tire repair method, the atmospheric pressure tool drives the tire repair needle to generate the rotative force and blocks the hole of the tire with the tire repair tube at a high speed.
