The device has a light source (32) e.g. side emitter LED, for emitting light rays, which propagate in a light guiding layer (28) by successive reflections. The layer has a reflecting section (30) for redirecting light rays in the layer, and an output contour (36) provided at an end opposite to the reflecting section. The contour comprises a reflecting profile, inclined with respect to a longitudinal axis of the layer, for reflecting light rays in an emission direction, which is parallel to the longitudinal axis. An independent claim is also included for a lighting/signaling device comprising a set of lighting/signaling devices. |
