The flowmeter has an impeller with a magnetic axle (1) and blades (2) formed from a non-magnetic material. The axle is rotatably arranged in bearings, and a device for data acquisition includes a radiation source (9), a photo receiver (7) and a measuring unit (10). The source and the receiver are optically connected with each other and reversely arranged relative to a rotation plane of the impeller such that the receiver is covered by the blades during rotation of the impeller. The bearings are designed in the form of two cylindrical permanent magnets (3, 4).
