PURPOSE: A vegetable washer is provided to enable a lifting unit where a basket is settled to be lifted and dropped while the lifting unit is sunk in a tub in order to maximize washing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A vegetable washer(1) comprises a tub(10), bubble generator, vertical frame(30), lifting unit(40), and lid(50). The tub whose top is opened has an inlet(12) through which washing water is putted on the one side and an outlet(14) through which the washing water is discharged on the other side. The bubble generator includes a bubble generating pump, a plurality of bubble holes(25), and one or more bubble pipes(24). The bubble generating pump is located on the external of the tub. The bubble holes generate bubbles with the help of pneumatic pressure generated by the bubble generating pump. The bubble pipe is located at the bottom of the tub. The vertical frame is located on one side of the tub. The lifting unit is positioned on the one side of the vertical frame. While a basket(2) is sunk in the washing water, the lifting unit moves the basket up and down within the washing water so that the vegetables are washed and cleaned. The lifting unit comprises a lifting frame(42), supporter(44), transferring conveyor(46), cylinder(48), and sensor. |
