<p>Provided is a method for manufacturing an optical display device including an optical display unit having optical members successively layered on the optical display unit. An adhesive is applied between the optical members so as to provide a mold releasing film. An optical member having a prolonged mold releasing film arranged via the adhesive is fed from the whole roll of the optical member having the mold releasing film, so as to inspect the optical member. The optical member and the adhesive are cut into a predetermined size in accordance with the inspection result while leaving the mold releasing film. The optical member from which the mold releasing film is peeled off is layered via the adhesive on the optical display unit.</p>
