<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for compressing feed capable of compressing collapsible feed having a high specific gravity for a desired shape. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a compressing table 2 serving as a table including a conveyor; a cylinder 4 having a shape of a hollow case and approaching to or retreating from the compressing table 2 by rising or falling essentially in the vertical direction; a piston 5 for, serving as a compressing plate, rising or falling in the cylinder 4 essentially in the vertical direction and compressing the feed charged in the cylinder 4; and a degassing device placed in the downstream side of the cylinder 4 and composed of a nozzle 17, a hose 18 and a blower. The cylinder 4 is retreated from the compressing table 2 after compressing the feed with the piston 5. Since an action to push the feed out in the horizontal direction is unnecessary, even a collapsible feed having a high specific gravity can be compressed for a desired shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
