<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system for permanently suppressing generation of slime in a drain pan. <P>SOLUTION: The air-conditioning system includes a heat exchanger 16, the drain pan 22 receiving drain water flowing down from the heat exchanger 16, and a drain pump 12 pumping up the drain water accumulated in the drain pan 22 and discharging it. An electrode type water level sensor 30 is provided for controlling actions of the drain pump 12. A silver object 50 containing silver ions having an antibacterial effect is arranged in a neighborhood of electrodes 31, 32 of the water level sensor 30. One part of a current flowing between the electrodes 31, 32 via the drain water is passed between the electrodes 31, 32 and the silver object 50, and elution of the silver ions into the drain water is promoted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
