<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity variable type swash plate compressor capable of adjusting a rotation balance, materializing the suitable actuating property of a link mechanism, and reducing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the compressor, the link mechanisms 12, 30, 40 have one swash plate arm 11b and a middle arm 20. The middle arm 20 has first and second middle arms 21, 22. The first and second middle arms 21, 22 are jornaled to a lug member 10 and an swash plate arm 11b by a lug side pin 23 and a swash plate side pin 24, and fastened so as to slidably clamp the lug member 10 and the swash plate arm 11b by the lug side pin 23 and the swash plate side pin 24.
