<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, surely and accurately recognize code information of a contact object's optical mark and specify input positions of a plurality of contact objects. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 3 provided in a light guide plate 2 emits light through lighting and scanning control by a controller 5e; the emitted light is entered into the light guide plate 2 which generates scattered light upon contact of a contact object 10, 13 comprising a mark section having an optical mark with a touch area 2a; colored light generated upon scattering caused by the contact object 10, 13 to the touch area 2a in the light guide plate 2 is received by a light-receiving element 4 arranged along a side of the light guide plate 2; then an input position of the contact object 10, 13 in the touch area 2a is specified by the controller 5e base on a coordinate when the scattered light is received by the light-receiving element 4 and a coordinate of the light-emitting element 3, for example, lighted and scanned at the time of reception by the light-receiving element 4; and, moreover, code information of the optical mark in the mark section is recognized from the received scattered light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
