INK COMPOSITION FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for manufacturing a color filter, which has excellent productivity and enables the optimum image desired as a filter to be accurately formed and a large amount of color filters to be stably and continuously obtained at high speed in the manufacture of the color filter by a letterpress reverse printing method.

SOLUTION: The ink composition including at least a pigment and a resin and having a solid ratio of the pigment to the resin of 2:5 to 1:1 in a volume ratio is used. A thermosetting resin having a weight average molecular weight of 1,500 or below is preferably used as the resin.
