<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an authentication card only while an employee is regularly working. <P>SOLUTION: This access management system includes: a storage medium carried by a user; an access control device for controlling passage at the entrance/exit or room door of a building to be managed; and a work management device. The work management device includes: a communication part for communicating with the storage medium; an operation part used by a user to select at least an absent mode or a present mode; and a control part for writing an invalid code in the storage medium when the absent mode is selected, and for deleting the invalid code written in the storage medium when the present mode is selected. An access control device includes: a communication part for communicating with the storage medium; and a decision part for permitting passage when the validity period read from the storage medium is not exceeded, and no invalid code is written, and for rejecting passage when the validity period is exceeded, and the invalid code is written. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
