<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise evaluation precision of a method and a device for quantitatively evaluating glare of an glare-proof film. <P>SOLUTION: The light from a light emitting surface where a plurality of light sources are arranged in line is photographed through a glare-proof film, and the luminance distribution of the predetermined bright spot lines is acquired from the photographed image information. The contrast of the maximum value and that of the minimum value adjacent to this in this luminance distribution are computed, and the glare evaluation value of the glare-proof film is computed based on the plurality of contrasts. According to the method and the device of glare evaluating, the glare evaluation value correlated with the degree of glare which an observer actually feels can be obtained to precisely perform quantitative evaluation at high precision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
