<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable frequency divider for outputting an oscillation signal of a frequency band in a desired range and outputting the oscillation signal with restricted harmonic components even if an oscillation signal of wide frequency band is not inputted. <P>SOLUTION: The variable frequency divider 1a has a route, on which a differential oscillation signal inputted from input terminals 10 and 11 goes via a poly-phased filter 31 and a poly-phased filter 32, and a route, on which it goes via a frequency divider 21 and the poly-phased filter 32, and a route, on which it goes via a frequency divider 22, the frequency divider 21 and the poly-phased filter 32. By choosing the route and a frequency division ratio of the frequency divider 22, oscillation signals one-fold, one-half, one fourth, and one sixth of the input oscillation signal can be generated. Further, the poly-phased filter is prepared at the last stage, so a four-phase oscillation signal with wide frequency band, in which an unnecessary signal, such as harmonic frequency generated by frequency dividing, is removed, can be outputted from output terminals 12-15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
