PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device with which a user can know that he/she has traveled for a certain time period while receiving route navigation only by keeping his eye on a map for route navigation, and with which a user can recognize a drop by place which he/she can stop over when he/she has traveled for a certain time period only by keeping his eye on the map for route navigation without performing an operation of searching such a drop by place. SOLUTION: With the navigation device, a position of the passing point at a time after traveling for a certain time period according to route navigation is specified if route navigation and a designated time are set. A drop by place within a searching radius corresponding to the designated time is searched, and an icon is shown representing the drop by place searched when the searched drop by place comes to a location displayable on a map shown for route navigation. A user can recognize that he/she has traveled for a certain time period and the drop by place where he/she can drop by at that time only by keeping his eye on a map for route navigation.
