<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original printing plate for lithographic printing capable of forming a hydrophilic/water-repellent pattern by an action of a photo-catalyst, having a sufficient contrast between a hydrophilic part and a water-repellent part, and obtaining a good result on printing density. <P>SOLUTION: The original printing plate for lithographic printing laminates successively a photo-catalyst-containing layer and a water-repellent thin film layer on a substrate, and has a surface free energy of the water-repellent thin film layer of 8-20 mJ/m<SP>2</SP>. Using this, by irradiating the plate with active rays to selectively remove the water-repellent thin film layer and to make the part hydrophilic, it is possible to obtain the sufficient contrast between the water-repellent part and the hydrophilic part, and the good result on printing density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
