<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a whole throttle body integrated with a motor case. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A motor 5 to be used for an motor driven actuator for a throttle valve 2 has two flat opposed faces formed on a yoke as part of a motor housing. The motor case 110 storing the motor 5 has flat opposed inner faces 110a, 110b corresponding to the shape of the motor housing, and it is arranged on the side wall of the throttle body 100 to cross a line perpendicular to a throttle valve stem 3. All or most parts of one of the flat opposed inner faces of the motor case 110 form the outer wall face of an intake passage located on the downstream side of the throttle valve to be controlled beyond an idle opening position.
