PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facing sheet for a floor material comprising a synthetic resin layer (a backer layer) being polypropylene resin layers and a decorating sheet (a facing sheet intermediate body) bonded to the backer layer, in which the adhesion property between the backer layer and the decorating sheet is improved. SOLUTION: The facing sheet for the floor material comprises at least one layer of the facing sheet intermediary body laid on an obverse surface of a base material sheet 4, and a synthetic resin layer which has the thickness of 150μm or above and is laid on a reverse surface of the base material sheet via an adhesive agent layer 3. (1) The synthetic resin layer comprises a plurality of polypropylene resin layers 5, 6, and (2) one of the plurality of polypropylene resin layers which is bonded to the base material sheet has bending strength of 200 to 500 MPa.
