PURPOSE: A tilting apparatus for an image display device is provided to support a part of a display unit at a time when a tilting operation of the display unit is stopped to prevent the display unit from shaking, thereby increasing durability and lifetime of the tilting apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A tilting apparatus for an image display device includes a display unit(10), a stand(20), a tilting driving unit(110), a support(120), and a supporting device. The tilting driving unit rotates the display unit. The tilting driving unit is driven by electricity applied from the outside. A part of the support is supported at a completing time of the tilting operation of the display unit. The supporting device prevents the display unit from shaking.
