<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device having a simple configuration, wherein the developing device can easily process a deteriorated toner, can reduce the processing time and can prevent new toner and the deteriorated toner from being mixed with each other; and to provide an image forming apparatus having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes: an exchangeable toner cartridge; a developing chamber; a waste toner tank; a first conveying path that connects the toner cartridge with the developing chamber; a second conveying path that connects the developing chamber with the toner cartridge; a third conveying path that connects the developing chamber with the waste toner tank; a fourth conveying path that connects the waste toner tank with the developing chamber; first and second conveying means for circulating the toner by using the first and second conveying paths, respectively; a third conveying means for discharging the deteriorated toner existing in the developing chamber to the waste toner tank by using the third conveying path; and a fourth conveying means for conveying the deteriorated toner existing in the waste toner tank to the developing chamber by using the fourth conveying path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
