<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display, excellent in durability. <P>SOLUTION: This polarizing plate includes a polarizer, and a cycloolefin polymer resin film bonded onto at least one surface of the polarizer, an average surface roughness Ra is 10 to 200 nm, in a bonded face of the cycloolefin polymer resin film onto the polarizer, and a transmission-axis-directional shrinkage rate of the polarizer is 20% or less, after standing for 10 hours under the atmosphere of 105°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
