摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic continuous quantifying and analyzing method of a plurality of components for accurately and rapidly quantifying the concentrations of the respective components with respect to a measuring sample composed of a plurality of the known components similar in an absorbing region of infrared rays and the shape of an absorbing curve, and also to provide an automatic continuous quantifying and analyzing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The wavenumber of the tip of a specific absorption peak selected as an absorption peak, which is not overlapped with the absorption peak in the infrared absorbance spectrum of another component to the utmost in the absorption peaks present in the respective independent infrared absorbance spectra of a plurality of the components, is set as the quantifying wavenumber of the component concerned to quantify the concentration of the component concerned from the absorbance of the absorption peak in the wavenumber corresponding to the quantifying wavenumber of a predetermined order of the component in the spectrum of the measuring sample or a difference spectrum formed immediately before and the preliminarily formed calibration curve related to the component concerned. Then the infrared absorbance spectrum of the component concerned showing the same intensity as the absorbance in the quantifying wavenumber is subtracted from the spectrum of the measuring sample or the difference spectrum formed immediately before to form the difference spectrum.
