<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine management system for easily replenishing merchandise while keeping consistency between sales amount information included in sales information and an amount of collected money. <P>SOLUTION: The vending machine management system comprises a vending machine for vending merchandise, and a terminal device 30 communicating directly or indirectly with the vending machine and acquiring sales information including sales amount information and sold merchandise information from the vending machine by making a sales confirmation request to the vending machine when confirming sales.
