<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light source which reduces the coherence of laser light and inexpensively achieves a visually recognizable level of speckle reduction without using a mechanical driving means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Laser modules 2a to 2d include: laser light sources 8a to 8d; intensity modulation units 6a to 6d to apply intensity modulation to the laser light sources 8a to 8d; first optical waveguides 3a to 3d to output the laser light beams L1 to L4 from the laser light sources 8a to 8d; and a second optical waveguide optically connected to the first optical waveguides 3a to 3d, wherein the output end parts 3e to 3d of the first optical waveguides 3a to 3d are closely bundled, and the laser light beams L1 to L4 are output from a light output area 15. The light output area 15 is connected to the input end 5a of a second optical waveguide 5 to guide the laser light beams L1 to L4 to the second optical wave guide 5.
