<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool simplifying a structure of a lighting unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power tool includes a lighting unit 40 wherein a light source 41 is exposed when lighting is used, and the light source 41 is covered with a cover 44 when lighting is not used. The light source 41 is fixed to the surface of a housing 11 of the power tool, and the cover 44 is connected to the housing 11, so as to be turned from a light source shielding position for covering the light source 41 to a light source exposing position for exposing the light source 41, and a mirror face 45 is provided inside of the cover 44, for reflecting lights of the light source 41 forward at the light source exposing position.
