<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet impedance sensor element of low profile for attaining Z-axis compactness and thinning of a three-dimensional magnetometric sensor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The magnet impedance sensor element 1 for the Z-axis has a substrate 11 made of a nonmagnetic material; a magnetic amorphous wire; a magnetic amorphous wire coating insulator and a detection coil 3 formed around the magnetic amorphous wire coating insulator; and a rectangular element insulator covering these parts and has an electrode terminal on the end face of the element insulator.
