<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window material for an automobile reduced in weight, having a sense of freedom, small in thermal expansion, and hardly impairing outer appearance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This window material for the automobile includes a plate material formed of transparent resin and a frame material formed of composite resin including the same transparent resin as the transparent resin used for the plate material and surface treated inorganic nano particles, and the frame material is integrated with at least a part of an outer peripheral part of the plate material.
