<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand tool capable of accurately cutting off a part of a washer portion of a crimp terminal with the washer portion having a screw through-hole, and of preventing the scattering of cut-off pieces. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hand tool comprises a cutting rod 4 having a moving blade 5, a main operating element 2 having a receiving blade 7 capable of accepting the moving blade 5 and a crimp terminal mounting block 6, a sub operating element 3 moving toward/away from the main operating element 2, and a storage box body 9 for storing the cut-off pieces having an inlet communicating with the inside of the receiving blade 7. The moving blade 5 has a pair of side edge portions extending substantially parallel to each other with an interposed space substantially equal to the diameter of the screw through-hole of the crimp terminal and a front edge portion extending substantially perpendicularly to the side edge portions. The mounting block 6 has a positioning portion 8 to place the crimp terminal such that the center of the screw through-hole of the crimp terminal is positioned at a position on the receiving blade 7, on which the midpoint of the front edge portion of the moving blade 5 passes, and the washer portion of the crimp terminal is cut substantially parallely, from the screw through-hole to a peripheral edge of the washer portion, by a width substantially equal to the diameter of the screw through-hole.
