<p>A staircase has vertically movable steps, wherein each step (1) is an independent and controllable automatic elevating unit. A lower part of each step (1) is connected with a pneumatic/hydraulic piston (2). A major frame of the staircase is provided with a pneumatic/hydraulic cylinder (3). Air/liquid conduits (4) at both ends of the pneumatic/hydraulic cylinder (3) are connected to a pneumatic/hydraulic power tank (8) through an electromagnetic air/liquid valve (7). The electromagnetic air/liquid valve (7) is connected to an electric appliance controlling part (11). A handrail is provided with a control switch (12). The staircase is simple in structure and inexpensive, and occupies less space. The staircase adopts the stair treads moving up and down vertically within a distance range of the height of three steps. The staircase enables two steps to be provided on the same plane, so that the passenger only needs to move on the plane to elevate or descend the step of the staircase by pressing the control switch (12).</p> |
