METHOD, APPARATUS AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM FOR TAGGING IMAGE CONTAINED IN WEB PAGE AND PROVIDING WEB SEARCH SERVICE USING TAGGED RESULT

PURPOSE: A method, an apparatus and a computer-readable recording medium for tagging an image contained in a webpage and providing a web search service using the tagged result are provided to improve the quality of web searching for a webpage including an image file. CONSTITUTION: A user is able to access a webpage provided by a server(200) by inputting an identifier after executing a web browser driven by a user terminal device. The server communicates with the user terminal device and each kind of web server, and includes a crawling unit(210), a text read unit(230), an analysis unit(250), a tagging unit(270), a tag database(280) and a search unit(290). The text read unit includes an image recognition and analysis unit(231), a text/symbol conversion unit(233) and a markup language conversion unit(235). The crawling unit(210) reads out the contents of a corresponding webpage by periodically accessing plural webpages provided from the plural web servers.
