<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively reduce damage to solar battery elements. <P>SOLUTION: A packaging case 20 of the solar battery elements 12 houses an element group 10 in which a plurality of solar battery elements 12 are stacked. The packaging case includes a main body 30, a first part 44, and a supporting portion 40. A recessed portion 32 having an opening 33 and a bottom portion 34 and capable of housing the element group 10 is formed in the main body 30. In the state in which the element group 10 is housed in the recessed portion 32, the first part 44 is capable of supporting the side surface 12b of the element group 10, which is opposed to the bottom portion 34 side, so that it is placed thereon.
