ROUTE CHANGE TYPE NETWORK DEVICE AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination technique for changing a device for generating a synchronous clock to cope with such a case where devices in a network may not be synchronized by deterioration in the synchronous clock of the devices in the network.

SOLUTION: A network device has: a master clock generation section for generating the synchronous clock of a plurality of other devices in the network; and a determination section for receiving an error signal indicating deviation from the synchronous clock from the plurality of other devices and determining abnormality at the master clock generation section, based on the number of error signals.
