<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever locking device for a vehicle with automatic transmission, having a mechanical structure relatively inexpensive and not generating noise during operation. <P>SOLUTION: The shift lever locking device for a vehicle with automatic transmission, includes: a shift-lock cam connected to a shift lever housing to be elastically rotatable through a cam spring, and connected to one end of a shift-lock cable; and a shift-lock release lever connected to the shift lever housing to be elastically rotatable through a lever spring, having one end arranged to be selectively inserted into a P range insertion groove or N range insertion groove formed to a shift lever body and the other end slidably inserted into a cam groove formed to the shift-lock cam and connected with the shift-lock cam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
