Ž<P>SOLUTION: The crosstalk measuring method for measuring an influence of crosstalk of the optical modulating element from a display image displayed using the optical modulating element includes a first image information acquisition step of acquiring image information of a plurality of pixels at given measurement pixel positions in a halftone image displayed using the optical modulating element, a second image information acquisition step of acquiring image information of a plurality of pixels at the measurement pixel positions in an image for measurement displayed using the optical modulating element, and a characteristic information calculation step of calculating crosstalk characteristic information of the optical modulating element based upon the image information acquired in the first image information acquisition step and second image information acquisition step.
