PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a money transaction processing apparatus for enabling a bank clerk and a customer to perform payment processing at the same time. SOLUTION: The money transaction processing apparatus includes: a customer side money payment slot; a bank clerk side money payment slot; a first discrimination/counting means for discriminating and counting moneys input to the customer side money payment slot; a second discrimination/counting means for discriminating and counting the moneys input to the bank clerk side money payment slot; a denomination mixture temporary storage part for storing moneys discriminated and counted by the first discrimination/counting means in a denomination mixture state; a plurality of denomination-categorized temporary storage part for storing moneys discriminated and counted by the second discrimination/counting means by denomination; and a denomination-categorized storage part installed at the downstream of each denomination-categorized temporary storage part for storing moneys stored in the denomination-categorized temporary storage part, and configured to discriminate and count the moneys stored in the denomination mixture temporary storage part by the second discrimination/counting means, and for storing the moneys in the denomination-categorized storage part through the denomination-categorized temporary storage part.
