PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector with a mode change function which can obtain a suitable reflecting characteristic and is suitable for processability of a center conductor and an assemblability between the center conductor and a microstrip line. SOLUTION: The coaxial connector 100 with a mode change function arranged inside a conductor and connecting between a coaxial line and the microstrip line (MSL) 6 includes the center conductor 1, an insulator 2 arranged along a part of the center conductor 1 on a coaxial line side, and a dielectric 4 for mode change arranged on a section located between the insulator 2 and the MSL 6 on the center conductor 1. The dielectric 4 for mode change makes an electric field distribution in an arrangement range R2 of the dielectric 4 for mode change to be an intermediate electric field distribution between the electric field distribution at an arrangement range R3 of the MSL 6 and the electric field distribution in an arrangement range R1 of the insulator 2.
