摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object control system for accurately calculating the self-location or moving direction of a mobile object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mobile object control system is configured of: a mobile object equipped with a plurality of tags having unique ID; a location information supply region equipped with a detection line extended to a prescribed direction, a reading means for reading the ID of the tags, and a detection part for detecting the detection line, and configured to move in a movement region including the location information supply region; and a control part for storing map information registered at relative location coordinates for a reference point in the moving region about each of a plurality of tags. The mobile object control system includes a location information specification part for specifying the location information of a tag read from the map information specified from the map information in the control part; a time measuring part for measuring a time difference between the first time when the detection line is detected by the detection part and the second time when the detection line is detected after the first time; and a calculation part for calculating the relative location and direction of the mobile object to the reference point on the basis of the specified location information and the measured time difference.
